GOD UNDERSTANDS

Sometimes there is just nothing to say. (And no, this has nothing to do with the election).

Have you ever felt this way when you seek God? It's not often I feel this way but when I do, I'm reminded He knows. He understands and He is with me. I'm grateful He is. I need this time with Him. I need His presence. I need His company. I need Him. My honesty is not too much for Him to handle. And God is kind, gentle, merciful, relentless in His love for us.

Prayer is essential and I don’t have many words today, but we know the Holy Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27) and I am so grateful…. Grateful for so much. And also in need of praying for so much. It is a “tricky” space to be in. Or at least it feels that way. But I’m finding both can co-exist. Praying with a heart of gratitude is something I’m learning more and more about.

And I can’t help to think that having open communication with the creator of it all, the one who holds all the answers, the one who reigns the one who is in dominion, is a TRUE gift!! “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” ~ ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬

Freedom and confidence… isn’t it great? It’s great to start the day knowing this. We can approach God with freedom and confidence at anytime. He is kind.
